WINE CELLAR

In 1999 during the restoration work, a small cellar, already ideally suited to the storageand maturation process of vats of wine, was discovered in the oldest part of the hamlet. It was only necessary to clean the stone interior from 1100 to revive its original function and beauty. Today it is home to a refined selection of the best of tuscan wines, the result of extensive research throughout the region. Our card is comprised of some of the most historically renowned wineries of Chianti Classico, Montepulciano, and Montalcino, as well as smaller rediscovered vines, and biological and biodynamic wine production of smaller lesser known wineries nonetheless deserving of high regard.The wines age in an ideally suited atmosphere: our ancient cellar has a vaulted ceiling and walls of stone, allowing the maintenance of a constant temperature in a range between 12 and 18 degrees centigrade year round and the correct level of humidity, affording the best conservation.
