Tavern
The Tavern, exclusively reserved for the guests, offers all the wine and gastronomic products that have made Tuscan cuisine famous around the world. Among the most outstanding specialties are Chianti Classico wine, which is produced on a nearby farm and the fragrant, high quality olive-oil, which is used for the preparation of tasty traditional dishes.
The menu includes regional seasonal dishes such us ribollita (vegetable soup), pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup), bruschetta (oiled bread with garlic), panzanella, all delicious and at the same time very simple.
Wine cellar
The cellar holds an important collection of prestigious wines. Its vaulted ceiling and thick stone walls contribute to maintain the inside temperature cool throughout the year (12-18°C). In addition, its sun exposure and degree of humidity allow the best preservation of the wines it holds. |
